Thanks Geo. NOW I recall the pic. Kids used to look so wonderfully innocent then.

Look at little Shirley temple, front row!

The old Gaumont & Odeon Cinemas were just so beautifully designed, and it is a shame some have been converted & gone to rack & ruin, I'd rather they were demolished in a way.

Many of the Piccadilly Line tube stations in London must have shared the same architect, too, they are really something special.

You can watch Senna via anytime+ on Sky.

Thanks!

PS - What exactly does that mean, please?

Pretty sure when you get the amazeballs sky VIP package free they provide the TV equivalent of a dresser to explain it or if required, press the buttons

They did, they sent a nice man round, but I was in a grumpy mood that day, & had mind-mode set to "send" not "receive".

Tony I've posted an Omaha hand in my diary. I'd value your opinion please Sir. Smiley

Careful! This post may be insincere or condescending.

Lol, it did worry me a bit at first, but Geo would never do that to me. A surprising number of peeps call me "Sir", incuding several blondes, which embarrasses muchly, but they are almost all close friends, I know they mean it, & I guess it's just because they see me as very extremely old. I would not dream of being offended by it, but it does embarrass me a bit. Nice embarrass though.

I'm playing DTD tomorrow, & now, having read that thread, I'm really worried about this politeness thing!

In fact, now, I'm almost scared to say "Hi" to everyone when I join the table, which I always do.

The world is changing, Tom, we've been left behind.

"Nice" & good manners are no longer fashionable, it seems.

Never mind, the mud in which I am stuck is too deep for me to escape.

Anyway, gotta go have a bath, I have a meeting with the allotment society tonight.

It was most Deffo sincere. I am very new to Omaha and I know Tony has played most games. I obviously value lildaves and cos's opinions too as they have a ton of experience online but felt Tony's live experience might be more useful.

You can also watch it on iPad via SkyGo.

I know it was Geo, Tom's just messing.

I enjoyed contributing to a "PHA" type thing, I'm way too timid (& crap) to do it on the proper PHA.

For the life of me, I cannot get "Sky Go" to work on my ippy, I've downloaded it & everything, but it does not seem to want to work. But I'll watch it on the TV, so thanks.

9-handed PLO is like 15-handed hold em imo. It shouldn't be spread but live nits don't like playing short handed even though 6-max PLO is much better for the game. I understand there are dealer cost and session fee issues tho that make all 9 handed games better for the casinos. I don't play 9-handed PLO live cos i think it's annoying.
