I don't exactly do nothing ,I just don't do the heavy manual work I used to I let the guys go now,n run the business ,instead of doing both
That's just getting smart! It comes with age, you know, or some say it does......
I was away 3 days in total last week, slightly less in fact, flew out early Monday, flew back late Wednesday. Much as I loved every moment, I could not wait to come home, was at the airport three hours early for the homebound flight, got home at Midnight, and was at my desk 5am Thursday, happily attacking the backlog. Then things all went badly wrong, and
I had my first "sick day" off work in 50 years on Friday
, I was devastated!
What???
WTF is this pls?? I dont wanna scroll through 15 pages of bikes and buildings to find you probs didnt mention it in the first place...
I'm pretty sure I told you to do a maintenance check not so long ago.. pretty sure uncle Reds agreed...
Also pretty sure you are losing too much weight!! And dont try to fob off with deli-belly cause this old store aint buying!!!
Explain 'badly wrong' thanks muchly..
xx
Morning Irene.
Weight loss. Your concern is much appreciated, & well-intended, thank you, but we need to be realistic as to "losing too much weight", & you sound a little like my old granny used to. She was the one who told me "never take a bath after eating a banana, you will drown". Yes yes, quite so Gran.
I've lost 2st 2lbs, but still weigh 11st 12lbs. I would place a wager that more than half the world's population weigh less than 10 stone, & get by just fine. If we exclude the mostly obese Americans, the bet would be nailed on. My weight loss if fine, my health is fine, & my energy levels are high, but thank you.
Last week's little ailment was a peculiar thing, caused by exposure to the sun. Not sunburn, just an allergic reaction.
I spent no more than 2 hours (in three seperate periods) in the sun on the beach in Nice on Wednesday, where the temperature was around 22c. (Vegas is nearly double that in June & July). I came home to London on Wednesday evening & was fine.
On Thursday morning my left eye swoll (swelled?) up badly, see dreadful mug shot below, & by Thursday night both eyes were totally closed, my entire head had swollen grotesquely, I could not see a thing, & I was being described as "tomato head". Not, I confess, for the first time. It remained like that all Friday, (hence the days sickie), but was almost completely back to normal by Saturday morning. I still have some residual swelling & puffiness, but I'm hopeful my good looks have not been impaired unduly. And no, I never went to a quack, or the hossie. The medicinal power of positive thought is immense.

Bloody hell Pops!! That looks shitter than a shit thing...

Incredible. Thanks.
I wonder what happens if & when he ever gets it started? Is that it? Wow.
Under December 2010, he wrote....
Things have been fairly quiet over the last few months
His neighbours won't say that if he ever gets it up & running!
Amazing the different hobbies & interests people have.
How are things over at Heathrow? Are BA ready for the new A380's yet?
Anyway, back to that wonderful RB211. Wonder what his missus is thinking, in the kitchen?

I got one of these yesterday - cost £1!
How the hell can they sell one of those for £1?
Almost certainly imported from either Costa Rica or Thailand, then via a UK distribution network, & everyone in the chain makes a bit of profit, with Tesco getting at least 50%.
And at £1, how good value is that, compared to, say, a pizza, a KFC, or a burger?

There was a piece in today's 'paper puffing up a book called "Clouds That Look Like Things". Gets an award for straightforward title, if nothing else.
The piece happened to mention that there is a "
Cloud Appreciation Society
", they have their own website & everything, with 22,000 Members. (Includes, presumably, spammers).
What an amazing diversity there is to people's hobbies.
The website -
http://cloudappreciationsociety.org/
- even has "Photo of the Month".
Here's March.

It was described by one gentleman as elephantitis, marv.
All well now, thanks, or nearly so. My left arm swoll (swelled?) up too, quite badly, I could not even wear a watch, it would not fit. All very grotesque, & odd.

I never saw him (or is it "her"?) on "Top 20 Pots" last night!
Jen Mason was the Analyst last night, she has grown into the role brilliantly, & I was incredibly proud for her.
She has such a pleasing disposition, bright - very - cheerful, & never disses a soul. She's middle-aged now, or nearly so, though still a good way behind Chili in the age stakes. She looks a tad mean here, though. When Jen gives you the dead-eye, it's time to stfu.
