Nobody has it yet. I wouldn't think Ice hockey would be suprising since they love it in America, although I can totally see why you'd think I'd think it was suprising.

Stephen Hendry winning his sixth world title?
I am guessing this is an article by EPSN's UK team, not a US article if Lara gets in the top 10

I have googled the answer now and can confirm it is surprising!

Haha, I'm reaching new levels right here mwuhahahaha,
Having rechecked I'd assume it is since 6 out of 10 are UK related, it's still suprising though.

I've googled it and can't figure out which is no. 1 and which is no. 10. but assuming no 1. is at the bottom of the page than it's not even a sport

Lets just assume for my sanity and to save levels of stupidity previously unseen on blonde being reached, that it was they order I thought.

It's a very personal thing, so everyone will have their own takes on this, but I kind of agreed on a lot of the sports, but with some swapping of occasions:
The Open. (British Open Golf Championship). That's the easy one. Argue all you like, that stays.
Ryder Cup Singles Day
SuperBowl - Yes. Personally I'd also chuck in Eagles vs Dallas game at The Linc and a big college game too.
Monaco F1 Grand Prix
Not a big motorsport fan
Wimbledon Tennis - Yes
Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe.
Not my sport either
State of Origin.
Big Rugby Union match involving New Zealand (purely for the haka)
Tour de France - Yes, specifically the Alpe D'Huez stage
Olympics - Yes
World Cup (Football) - Too corporate nowadays, as is the FA Cup final. Would actually go for the Championship Play-Off final, but at the old Wembley Stadium (better acoustics, no empty 'club' seats) when you could still have a 50:50 split of rival fans around the ground.
A Lords Test v Australia, or the Ashes Test on Boxing Day down under. Yes
So to replace F1 and Horse Racing I'd need two others...
The Boat Race from a launch behind the boats.
Just realised I've missed off an Old Firm Game, so two spots for football needed.

C'mon!! I'm pretty sure you witnessed Newmanseye's Blonde Bash quiz too, so can't even claim ignorance.

Not really sporting, but this guy was pretty impressive:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marion_Tinsley
I actually think that this is a pretty huge achievement. For a human to still be beating a computer at a relatively simple game in 1992 is pretty impressive. Only 5 years later Deep Blue beats Kasparov at chess which is in another universe of complex. Obviously cutting edge technology in 1997 was much more advanced in terms of processing power than its 1992 counterpart but I still think thats a pretty big win for the grey matter!
I think we are still a long way away from computers being able to beat the best NL players in the world but that is more a function of the best NL players in the world knowing what happened to Tinsley and Kasparov. In Ivey/durrrr/Junglemans spot I think it would be pretty suicidal to cooperate with studies trying to solve NL holdem and they are for sure smart enough to know that.
The outlook isn't so good for FL holdem though:

The answer I was looking for was Darts, whether that is actually the correct answer, decide for yourself.
