Cheers Doobs that was great to watch. They mentioned in there that Timeform rated Sea Bird at 145, is that still the case and if so do you know what figure they rate Frankel now?
Think it was 147 last I heard.

Don't know how you order these things, but that race is up there with Arazi in the Breeder's Cup juvenile and Frankel's 2000 Guineas.

Think of it as current affairs Tom It was naked men the other day, there were more knobs and knockers than a B and Q showroom!

I've combined the two now Tom. I had a Tesco burger today, it was good, good to soft in places.

Have horses got faster as time goes on in the same way athletes have?
I'd assume training methods have evolved but what about diets? At the end of the day I guess hay is just hay really.

Some of the points in that article don't make much sense to me. Humans aren't running faster times because their legs are getting longer. I'm sure Tyson Gay is shorter than Carl Lewis. Anyway, the last point in the article seemsto be closer to the to, which is that horses have been bred to run fast, and they're probably running close to the maximum their bodies can achieve. Humans haven't been bred like this and there's still more potential to be extracted. Just my opinion.
