Have horses got faster as time goes on in the same way athletes have?

I'd assume training methods have evolved but what about diets? At the end of the day I guess hay is just hay really.

That, Mr Pie, might just be the greatest question ever on here.

Too tired to reply tonight, but prepare yourself for a War & Peace style reply.

With talk of Fred going to Wembley for the NFL game next season.

What are the top 5 sporting events you would most like to see in the world, cant be an event you have been to before.

...and that's not a bad one, either, Jim.

I've mulled it over tonight, & came up with some surprising answers.

Too tired to do it justice tonight though.

STOP!

No more of those girlie pics here, please. We'll have someone doing that dreadfully cliche'd "2-1-5-3-4" thing next, God forbid.

Not at all surprised, as you are a Pembroke chap, but very glad to hear it.

It is the sort of uncouth thing an Emanuelle chap might say though.

No no no, Ed, think at a higher level.

It was a deliberate ruse - truly - to see if you ventured into these lesser, but more discrete, Diaries, & I thought the best way to find out was to lay a little groundbait.

I'm honoured you looked in, just got to get The Father in now & my life will be complete.

Ah yis, I appear to have been whooshed. My rather loutish baiting of Tal on the quiz thread. I promise that will stop now lest Father Gascoigne set the Westfield Comp boys on me.

Avid browser, rare contributor on this thread I believe would describe my participation best Smiley

Think the Father does pop in from time to time - he was most pleased to see the photos/discussion of intricately decorated toilets of the world a while back if my memory serves me correctly.

Any chance we can borrow Jeeves for our jaunt to Deauville or must I employ the services, as per Tittybean's request, of Fink-Nottle as scribe?
