woah woah woah. let's not get tallness and height of mountains confused.
Taller, higher, fewer, less, I get confused.
That Trading business that PS set up, that Plenners was going on about. I reckon he'd be good at
shorting.

Presume it's some gubbins about american football and I know that's his bag. If it's not about that then I just got lucky.
I know you like to stay down with the kidz so here's a new word for you, courtesy of hannah - it's become part of the common vocabulary at home - 'awepic' as in 'trains are awepic'

As got the Broadway, that was the first casino I ever went into, having previously been in the same 'house of avoidable vice' bracket as open-minded lady bars. My first visit was Good Friday, in 2004ish (was sometime while I was at Uni - 03-05)
Used to play the £20 rebuy and it was the place where I served my poker apprenticeship, meeting some rather interesting folk and almost exclusively donating to the prize pool, with at least a chicken dinner at 10.30 as compensation.
I barely played anywhere else for a few years, picked up the game the hard way, including some particularly horrible cash games.
I've been around gambling all my life and my dad told me the first time I placed a bet at Hall Green dogs the rule that has stuck with me ever since: only bet what you can afford to lose.
I can barely remember an occasion where I didn't see people who break this rule to chase the dream of that magical bink. Sometimes they get there and bully for them. That sort if buzz isn't for me, though. I have always liked knowing it's just for fun.
I don't go as regularly to Broadway these days, but I don't play so many £30 comps. When I do go back, there is a quaint feeling of "home" and a warming reminisce is never more than a handshake away.
I was hardly a "Reg", only going once or twice a week, but it was most weeks and I'm a sociable sort when it suits.
Some great characters there.

A newly-appointed senior manager at our office issued a little introductory article on our intranet about himself. He described the organisation from his first few days here as
an ecosystem with its own biodiversity
Had he referred to himself as an "Imagineer", I might actually have made the local news for the actions that would have followed.

He was obviously brought in to facilitate a paradigm shift in the fundamental business ethos and culture in this new era of on-demand information.

I totally agree, and I'll be stealing that comment for future use in a works meeting.
Might manage to make my boss spit more tea than the time I responeded to an impossible request with 'my balls are made of meat not crystal'....
