A friend of mine posted the picture on Facebook this morning.

Picture in fact was taken in Tywyn which is in Gwynedd but not far from the Ceredigion border, which is approx just over an hour away from me but a fair distance away from the Brecon Beacons.

I think you would actually like Tywyn, it has a train station.

Thought you might like to know that this saturday at Gentings they have a £90 + 10 plo tourn with a 5k guarantee. You dont play much live but crush the omahas. Gentings a pretty nice very well run place to play these days

I was free all last weekend - a real rarity for me - but could not quite summon up enough mojo to set fire to money in a NLH Tourney, but Omaha, I'd have been there like a shot. I've fallen head over heels in love with the various Omaha formats.

In a piece of unbelievably bad timing, because I go to the Theatre - proper Theatre, posh clothes & everything - about once every 20 years (Jesus Christ Superstar was very good, you know)  - but I'm booked to go this Saturday.

Now I shall have to sit there all evening, watching a naff show, & idly wishing I was playing Omaha @ Luton. Ugh.

Anyway, I'll be here, at this splendidly ornate Provincial theatre ......

Yeah this is what annoys me when people say Pele was the best ever or Maradona was the best ever etc, clearly they are far inferior to 1000's of players by todays standards. Obviously it's also not fair on them because they could have had the potential to succeed had they been born 25 years ago as well.
