Pretty sure those train pictures have been lifted from the Northern Rail website.

Proper posh trains for us Yorkshire folk.

Nah, they are Branson's finest.  Could recreate that from London to Aberdeen and get change from £25 if you book early. No wonder there is nothing left in the betting accounts when we need it.

Feckin KT Hopkins Dr Liam Fox Wankers all of them.  First against the wall when Corbyn gets in, mind.

As some of you know, each year Gill & I try & do a little "adventure" in the USA, & this year is no exception.

The plan is to have a 2 day "away" trip again this year.

We begin by flying up to Portland, Oregon, on an early morning flight from Vegas. We usually fly SouthWest.com, but Gill is keen to use Alaska Airlines this year for the very good reason that their aircraft have.....a picture of an Eskimo on the tail.

Don't even ask.

Alaska air are buying virgin America - you could get to be on a woolly jumper plane!

We are having a week at Easter there as tourists to show my 17 yr old daughter some of vegas ,me n Denise both love any time we can get in Vegas for some reason n I'm no longer bothered about spending 15/18 hours a day at the table
but enjoy it there immensely

Hi tikay
Glad to hear you are recovering well and we will still battle at the plo/plo8 tables again this year.
I've just booked 15th for 10 nights.
Spoilt for choice this year, literally could play a tournament every day if I'm in the mood.

Cheers
Rob

I did the train from SF to San Diego - I guess it is the same train that carries on after it gets to SF. Prob my joint favourite train ride tied with Nice to Monaco. Feels like a bit more of an experience in the US when you get a train and the stations themselves are often grand old buildings too. Hope you have a great time!

Hi Tikay glad your feeling better. When my wife taken I'll last year I called up my bank, who give us free travel insurance,  to inform them of her illness. When I told them that we booked our holiday before she got taken ill they said the current policy would cover her while we were away without any extra premium. It also covered us if we had to cancel. It may be worth your while asking the same if you have cover already in place.
