Tesla sold 70,000 cars last year. Ford 6.6m. Yet Tesla valued more highly.

I was pretty much locked in to buy a Tesla until our wonderful government changed the BIK tax rules on electric cars.
Amazing cars and definitely going to be the way things go in the future.
I can't wait until they become comparable on price to petrol/diesel cars and vans. Shouldn't be more than 5 years I wouldn't have thought given the way they're progressing.

IMO it's investing in the potential Ford had just before the Model T launch, instead of in the a fairly static behemoth.
If I was making the investment I'd rather buy a share in Elon Musk, but as you can't the next best is picking which of his projects are looking to bear serious fruit.

Hi Ralph,
Her name is - or more precisely was - Jules Sowa, & she was a Presenter on Sky Poker TV. She got married & is now known as Jules Breach.
In answer to Tighty, & for reasons I'll explain in due course, I treated myself to BT Sport recently, ("treated" is subjective, but there are several positives) as I'm on the DL list temporarily for all sorts of things, so have been watching a lot of TV, rather like I gather old boring people do, & I've been very impressed by Jules work for BT.
Here's Jules in her Sky Poker days alongside a good friend of both of you, although I'm not sure I approve of Miss Mason looking so "normal" and well groomed. I kinda prefer the natural look for Jen.

I will try & reply to all the other unanswered posts shortly, & I apologise for not doing so earlier.
I've been suffering from chronic fatigue since you know what, & everything is too much trouble & I sort of cba to do anything. Most unlike me, & I don't like it at all, but thankfully I'm on the up now & hopefully my zing and oomph will soon fully return.
I got all behind with my PM replies, too, but have had a bit of a purge this morning and replied to 20 or so. That's good progress all things considered, so life is good.

Something to get started on whilst I sum up the energy and oomph needed to get up to date with replies.
As I alluded earlier, I've been watching a lot of TV, never had much choice tbh.
Anyway, two TV advertisements - we used to call them "commercials" as I recall - have impressed me greatly for a) quality of production, b) general amusement, and I thought I'd share both with you to see if you all - or anyone - agrees.
They'd be even better adverts if I had the faintest idea what either of them were trying to sell me.

I'd bet good money it is a Purple Starling.

I took this photo on Saturday, in quite a well known location.
Anyone know where it is?
