I turn 10-10-10 with an ace kicker on a 10-5-6-10 dry board in a limped pot with 3 players behind me, including Vietnam, and limp.

Nobody bites.

River is an 8, a complete blank, and now I bet. Vietnam min raises me.

I flat.

He had X-X-8-8.

Cracking play. Wait till they are ahead before betting.

Umm, I do wear glasses.....

Heh, I'm the same, have to ask the dealer for the suits if I'm in 2 or 8. Also get asked why I don't wear glasses - I'm already wearing four contact lenses, can't see glasses improving it any.....

The Old Man and Vietnam eventually get it all in on the turn of this board.....

Old Man says "I have a straight...." and throws K-Q on the table but before he can continue Vietnsm says "same hand, chop it up".

Old Man then continues "...and a boat" and slowly places his  J-10 on the table.

Table in hysterics, and to be fair, Vietnam takes it well.

My turn now.

Vietnam raises my big for the 7,000th time and I 3 bet with  three diamonds

He calls, as always.

Flop 7-5-4, two clubs.

I bet 4,000, Vietnam makes it 10,000.

I insta jam.

After an eternity, he folds.

Better.

In that hand......

I think how much we have behind is quite important here.

Grant - don't forget we have $260 invested, which, if we run the hand through a calculator, must make a difference.

Assume it ends up as a $4250 pot and we have $260 in and $1140 behind.

1140/4250 = 26.7% equity required.

I'm struggling to think of two hands that players who can run up those stack sizes would pot pot that don't have you crushed?

I open with.....

Two flat calls then Vietnam raises, and I pot it.

He flats.

I jam and he eventually folds, saying I got lucky.

YBA son. Jump around, jump around.

Flop 2 pair and flush draw three way and check call the button.

Check check on the turn.

I don't improve but bet the river on a straighty flushy board.

Kid dwells then flats with better 2 pair.

He was actually ahead every street.

Thanks Grant.

8 pages is optimistic, there are only 34 players left from 68 and we have not been playing 4 hours yet.
