Shamelessly stolen from Next Door's Forum, I was introduced to the delight's of a chap named Jack Handey.
You ever heard of him? He's a new one on me, a sort of really quirky comedian.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jack_Handey
Quirky? Well yes, this sort of stuff;
If you're a cowboy and you are dragging a guy behind your horse , I bet it would really make you mad if you looked behind and he was reading a magazine
Let’s be honest: Isn’t a lot of what we call tap dancing really just nerves?
One bad thing about Lassie, she was always warning you about something; let me be surprised for a change.

We don't do politics on this Diary, but this outbreak of milk-shake throwing is not good, & whilst I have no time at all for Farage, I don't think chucking milkshakes at him or any other prominent Politician is a good thing at all. Gawd knows where it will all end. It'll be Mrs May or Boris next, & that's hardly the right way to oil the wheels of sensible debate.
Having said that, it does give the newspapers an opportunity to indulge in their favourite hobby of punnage. I'm not sure what it is about puns, they are very Ryanair, we all pretend to despise them, but really we like them.
Today's headlines include;
Shaken, but not deterred.
Shaken & stirred
Politics is not all milk & honey.
Brexit Party shake-down.

Well in that case, here's a marketing initiative that I fancy Lord Mantis would approve of, which was (if Twitter can be believed) seen outside a Polling Station this morning.

I'll be loading the basket of my Victory 10 up with milkshakes, if it's not up today!

16th June; Venetian $1,100 PLO8

26th June; Venetian $800 Omaha Mix
27th June; WSOP $1,500 MIX

Purchases set at today’s rate of £0.79 to $1. Returns will be at rate prevailing when repayments made. No Mark-Up, obv.
You can buy a fixed %, or a lump sum (£50, £100 or whatever). Day 2’s or unavailability for any reason will reduce the total. If total entries reduce, the % purchased will increase pro-rata.
All stakes will be converted to a % of the total actually spent in Reg Fees.
1% costs £69, 2% = £138, 2.5% = £172.50, 5% = £345.
£50 buys 0.73%, £100 buys 1.46%, £150 buys 2.19%, £250 buys 3.65%, £500 buys 7.3%. (All approx).
Sold so far;
Regards (Power); £237 = 3.4%
The following have requested a %, so it’s reserved if they still want it;
Knottikay, 8th April
Karma Dope, 9th April
Supernova by PM
With blonde traffic so much reduced since last year, & the Diary being MIA this year, there’s no danger of this selling out, but all previous investors are guaranteed action if they wish it. New investors welcome of course.
Otherwise, it’s all as previous years. I think I’ve covered everything, but if I’ve forgotten something, nudge me please.
BOOKED; MPower £237 (3.4%)
PAID;
Regards (MPower) £237

I’ll take 2% because it’ll save me having to give any money to Help The Aged this year.

For clarity, this does not refer to bookiebasher. It could, but it doesn't.
