Unlucky Tony,
Not much you could do looking at the reports. One card away from 90k chips, that would have enabled you to have fun.
I have arrived back in Vegas, Uber tastic ride in this time. Pleasantly surprised with my accommodation at The LINQ.
Do you know how Essexphil did in the seniors event a week or so back?

Phil did a Vegas update on the forum
Next was the Seniors tournament at the WSOP. Made Day 2, but busted out about 200 spots from the money, when Blind on Blind my A rag lost to someone's K rag. Fun tournament.
All the best for the rest of your trip

Perhaps Gill could play out the rest of the stake?

Sorry state of affairs when you have to rely on Marky to get you out.

Good luck at the O/rleans Tony.
Thanks Ralph.
Bet you have played here a time or two.
I stayed here the first year I came to Vegas, quite liked it. There used to be a shuttle from here to the Rio but I believe they cancelled it a year or two back.
Orleans shuttle still runs but goes Orleans - Linq - Gold Coast - Orleans etc., so you have to get off at GC and walk to Rio.

I played there a few times when I first visited LV around '95/'96 using that Rio shuttle.
I stayed at the Rio when it first opened in I think '95 and played a few tourneys in The Rio Carnivale - at the bargain poker room-rate of $50 per night for those suites too.
I always found the Orleans card-room to be a little soulless and lacking in atmosphere possibly due to not winning a carrot there..

Morning all.
Welcome to the truly wonderful Golden Nugget card room.
Beautifully scaled, and hard to believe it comfortably houses 60 tables, with plenty of room between them to have a wander and a wonder.

I've got a good feeling about this one Tony not just because The Nugget is my home away from home in Vegas.
I reckon this BigO is your main game.

I'm staying in The Linq when I go to Vegas in September. Got a very low rate on it (perks of the job
), and by all accounts it's a pretty decent budget option that obv has a cracking location.
Hope you're enjoying your time out there, it's a bloody addictive place once you've chalked off the first trip.
I guess I should probably wish the old man good luck whilst I'm here...….from the bottom of my heart, gl.
