Prior to entering the Suez Canal, the ship went on a meander, presumably whilst awaiting it's turn in the queue. Click to see full-size image. |

[/quote] Love all thee memes that crop up so quickly. It's amazing how this story is on every front page of every newspaper/news website on earth. And the best thing about it is we can gloat & stare to our heart's content, as nobody got killed or even injured. Great story.

Elton John was 74 yesterday. How can you not love him to bits? What a career he's had too. He seems so happy it makes me happy just to look at him. Click to see full-size image. |

Have you had your jabs Ralph?
Had the first one Tony - only really old people have already had the second one.

*may not actually be a pigeon I'd faint if I ever got that close to such a beautiful thing. Like the way you attracted it by sprinkling Quality Street all over the floor.

They have got a beautiful plumage, but they can be right stroppy buggers especially around breeding time. Make a real mess if they start attacking their reflection in the window.

It's a window sill not the floor They're origami cranes* *They were origami cranes, they're now largely vague shapes of folded paper. One of our friends made a few hundred of them to help decorate her wedding reception. After approximately one drink at this reception Science Wife decided - "we must have all the swans!" - so we took most of them home. Our cats really like playing with them though so despite almost all of them having lost their shape it might be a while before we get rid of them. I realise Colin Murray is a bit marmite but he has massively developed as an interviewer for me anyway, he is releasing a new set of interviews as part of his overnight show called midnight meets https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p09bx4h8Daley Thompson I have heard interviewed a few times but every time I learn something, give it a listen if you are bored. (Some other good music guests as well).
