I've been a little angry of late as my best pal was punched outside my local 2 Saturdays back, the scan returned negative brain activity and his body passed away 3 days later.
Looking back through my posts since then i see a pattern of spite, i can only appologise.
Sorry all, i know at least one other member experienced the exact same thing, i only just realise.....
Sorry to hear that mate, my sympathy goes out to you.

On Sunday, in
DT
D
, sharing a table, were Karabiner, Ding, Compo & boldie, & for reasons I can't (just not able, can't find the words) articulate, it gave me so much pleasure. Whatever happens, blonde has made good friendships that otherwise would not have happened, & that pleases me no end.
I have to say I've had the best time I've had while playing poker in a long time in Notts. Some good people playing at the Stanley (Newportlad and Fran...who admittedly was as stoned as a stoner from stonesville (medication not drugs..I think..yeah fairly sure )and a complete degenerate..met Kab and Fran's dad there on Wednesday and boy can Kab talk!), but
DT
D
was something else it really was. That Omaha game was great fun and if I stayed any closer to Nottingham I'd be playing it every night. (If only to see Compo make some truly sick calls again, apologise for it before hand and then sucking out...is there no end to that man's skills?)
My Mrs had a great time as well and I am sure that blonde has made my "poker experience" (to use a frivilous management term) soo much better.

Didn't want it to get "Lost" when you came to your senses.
Now...I just need to get you into trouble with your missus as well and you're toast.

Ah that's just not going to happen, my friend....I take good care of my lovely wife and am too smart to piss her off (atleast I am when we are not travelling...when we are on any form of public transport all bets are off of course
)

That's just awful news Ian, & I'm sorry to hear it. There is so much needless violence these days, so much uncontrolled anger.

But Byronic Acid's Post absolutely winded me, it really did. He & I meet from time to time at Live Events, & we get on famously, & he's a solid blonde. I happened to mention that I don't like the word "retard" being used as a personal insult, &, lo & behold, within minutes, he's searched through my Posts & found that I'd used the expression "RunBadLagTards" a while back, which, I now gather, means the same thing, or I now assume it does. I can handle his reply easy enough - I simply apologised, genuinely - but I was just astonished at the lengths some go to try try & trip others up. Sometimes, you know, what you see is what you get.
I was well surprised to see you use the word tard after you have said you don't like the word in the past. I only used the search function as it was the easiest way to find the post whilst 8 tabling on your poker site. Sorry to wind you up.
No prob Byron, thank you.
For the record, I never used the word "Tard", I said "RunHotLagTard" I think. (I'm sure someone will do a Search of my 25,000 Posts & correct me if I'm wrong....).
As I have stated since, I was never aware it was a bastardisation of retard. In fact, I googled "tard" last night, & although it does not exist in a Standard Dictionary, it does crop up in "Slang Dics", & does indeed mean "retard". I shall stick to proper English now, & not try & use these street-cred words.
I am not having a pop at you personally, but I do find it very sad that the default setting these days is to try & trip people up, "expose them" for seemingly contradicting themselves. (More of which later). I'm very glad I lived most of my life in more innocent times.
Your long-term support of the blonde Cardroom is very much appreciated, by the way, thank you. I look forward to seeing you again soon.

I had the very same conversation with a work colleague today. We were discussing swearing at work and how it was not really appropriate, not much offends me apart from the word "retard" I guess thats because I used to teach people with learning disabilities and I may be over sensitive.
It seems it's as much part of young peoples vocabulary here as it is in America which I just have to accept.

FFS - I was looking ok on the outside! And the underneath stuff was from Rigby and Pellers so although I may come over as uncouth underneath it all I have a classy side.....never get a chance to show it though at the poker table.

Had a terrific night at
DT
D
last night, & a most interesting thing went off. I planned to write some nice, uppy, positive stuff today, but of course now we've got that Brian Wilson thing to sort ourt, it's a damn nightmare. I've no idea what the score is there, & can't be arsed to trawl through pages & pages of american Fora to wise myself up on it. So much downy stuff.
The Mods & myself have all been up to our necks in sorting it, at 2am today Iron had to ring me about it, he'd taken "overnight action" to control it, as no Mods were about, & I was handling it at 6am. Woke up at Noon or whatever, & I just decided, bugger it, let's face it head-on, we can't be doing with an incessent flame attack & just look the other way & hope it goes away. The boil needs to be lanced. The cooey-wooey function had to be temporarily disabled for this one.
It was inferred that I was friends with Brian. The word "friend" has a special meaning to me. Brian was a mate, & a good mate, we shared many happy times, & I adored his company. But "friends" to me is something extremely special, & although I use the word loosely, & a lot, my
real
friends are very few - maybe 3 or 4, 1 of whom is a sort of brother. And you all know who they are.
Still, it looks like Mugabe is on his way out. Happy days.
Now, what to do during this "hot" blonde " day, when all this stuff is going off? Easy. Go get a haircut.
