Tony the board was 942 where i bet 25 with T763 you called the turn came the 7 so i checked behind now i know i am ahead when the river paired the 4 i couldn't believe my luck when you bet 75......

Somehow despite losing i think 3 2k pots i managed to cash out £3730 at the end of the night, quite handy when i was in for £3720!

I had an e-Mail from Gutshot this week, announcing their Online PokerRoom is now "back Online", la de da de da. It's clearly written by some kid in a PR/Marketing outfit.

I have a lifelong aversion to PR peeps, & the dross they ask us to read. I mean, honestly, do they really think that anyone - anyone at all - would believe phrases such as this? (C & P from the e-Mail).

Gutshot Are Also Delighted To Announce That Gutshot Is Now Part Of The Best Poker Network In The Universe.

Note, by the way, the use of upper case letters at the start of every word. Is Grammar* not still on the agenda in schools? Did you ever see a sentence written so badly, in your entire life? (Those emenating from Ironside excepted).

I wish Gutshot, & all who sail in her, the very best of luck, but please, don't foul my inbox with such ill-written nonsense as that. It irritates me.

If they write to me & say "We have moved to a new network now, it's here" (with a Link) that's all anyone could ever wish for, surely? In that, most of us are grown-up, & pretty much like to work these things out for ourselves.

I've just re-read that Gutshot e-Mail, & found this sentence - cut & pasted precisely "as is".

I also had an e-Mail from Mansion Poker, announcing their switch across to i-Poker network.

Two questions (plus supplementaries) from me on that.....

1) How much added-value did Mansion throw at the market with that daily Online Comp they used to run, last year I think? And did it work?

2) They are - so the e-Mail says - giving away money left right & centre. (Not really, but they say they are). Can we assume that they are strictly street-legal as to the "maximum loyalty bonus" that i-Poker allows it's Clients, such as blonde, to offer? I mean, can you dress up loyalty bonus or rakeback in some other form & get round the network rules that way?

Just curious.
