What are the "Clearances", briefly, please?
All the reds with a colour, then yellow, green, brown, blue, pink and black.
Thanks Andrew,

Thinly veiled 'I have a swanky new laptop' brag post IMO.

Ditto!
Trust Andrew to lighten the mood.
He's a sort of blonde version of Henry Kissinger, almost omnipotent. And, probably blonde's wittiest (though worst-dressed) Poster, though he has a pretender to his throne in young Bolt.
Still, all humour is subjective. I've met folks who think Chubby Brown, Bernard Manning & Russell Brand are funny. It takes all sorts, I guess.

Most comedians, good or bad take time to build a repetoire (sp) spontanious wit such as Andrew's and bolt's is much harder and generally hugely funnier. Alan Davies, Stephen Fry and Paul Merton are currently the best exponents of this at the mo IMO.

You'd never catch me leaving a rude message on the answerphone of an elderly man.

After Spurs unlikely result last night......
The Times reports,
"Wenger.......was ungracious when asked to discuss the contribution made by Redknapp".
Good that the Thunderer does not go down the The Sun's "up yours" route, but I'm curious as to what he might have said.
Answers on a possie.

The atmo in Luton-G, who showed it, was extraordinary, with most supporting Arsenal (obviously), but Compo was revving up the Spurs boys, & he did his David Pleat impression when the plonkers luckily equalised in injury time, & was galloping round the cardroom in full cry.
Amazingly, the goal went in just as Compo flopped a house, he went off running round the room, whooping & hollering, & when he came back, was a bit miffed as his hand had been killed, & Alex Martin had nicked it!
I just watched those two adolescent idiots on "Fan-Zone". Good grief. Folks watch THAT?

lol.
Luckily, I don't have a grand-daughter. But if I did, & Brand left "that" message for me, I'd thwack the gormless idiot. Having seen his apology, I almost feel sorry for Brand, he's clearly cerebrally challenged.

I'm have not, nor will I comment on the Brand/Ross/Sachs issue. (That band waggon is overloaded already) But I thought Brand's apology was honest and sincere, and he didn't come across as cerebrally challenged to me. (Which proves that it's not only humour that's subjective)

As to Ross/Brand, it's very siimple. Everything after their 'phone call is irrelevant to me - the young Producer was in a spot, how can he possibly stand up to Ross & Brand?, etc, but none of that matters a jot to me, that's all after the event, being the 'phone-call.
In which matter, I toss my hat firmly into exactly the same ring as Geo the Sarge & Rod.

I shall be playing it from home - well, Hotel-Room, almost the same thing these days, as I have to be in Feltham sharpish tomorrow.
And I'm recording a 1 hour Show on Saturday, to be transmitted on Tuesday or Wednesday of next week, which will review tonight's "Play The Presenter", & any interesting hands, or "characters" I get to play, see, or chat with.
It's safe to say it will not include many, or even any, of my hands. I don't really do "interesting" hands......

Ouch, I really am sorry about that.
I had A-K, he had Q-J, all-in pre. Somehow, I had it in my mind that he had a bad ace, (which was what I had put him on) so I was worried when this Flop & Turn ensued.....
2-2-3-5
The 4 rivered, I thought "damn, we both have the wheel", & stopped Sicilian from leaving, he already had his coat on. "Come back, you are still in" I said.....
Oops.
Oh, & it's KendAll please. Mr Kendall, or His Excellency. I am an Ambassador, you know.
