Except the graph is titled "tikaysfolly", & we have not established it was a bad play by me, or what my hand was.

I've made a read and gone with it.

I'm owned.

Technically, my hand never fell within the yellows, greens, or greys.

How could he call?

My New Years Resolution. NEVER bluff again.

Called by the 64th Nuts, sigh. Total lack of respect.

Depends who called you

if it was WPIL or someone else unfathomable, you are forgiven

If it was me, you have a tell

His tell wasn't there. I was watching at the other end of the table and even I was convinced he had the hand/a hand that could beat 8 8 and normally if Tikays betting I assume he's bluffing.

It's so wrong to laugh at people who are ill, or less fortunate, but sometimes, it can't be helped.

Plodding North on the M1, I listened to a Radio Four programme which was discussing a Seminar in Cambridge on "Adolescent Eating Disorders", primarily anorexia nervosa. (sp?).

They then visited a sort of Anorexia Rehab Clinic, where all the sufferers, mostly young girls (not one male was present, interestingly), discussed their daily routine.

They interviewed 4 girls at once, they were bright & cheery, all 4, & were aged 13, 14, 15, & 16.

So, the interviewer asks, totally seriously, ......

"What part of the day do you most like?"

Individually, they all replied, mostly "recreation time, watching telly" sorta thing.

Interviewer then drops his bomb, unwittingly.

"And what part of the day do you least enjoy".

The 4 girls replied instantly, as one, in a chorus.

"Meal-times".

I giggled for 30 miles, & have felt bad about it ever since. But it's still making me smile.

Bang out of order. I had 7-5, which I always feel has a lot of scope to improve.

Ref: 8-8

If I tell a stunningly funny joke to 99 people and they all laugh, and then tell the same joke to a rather miserable 100th person and I am met with silence, does that mean the joke isn't funny??

The bluff is not bad obv. It's the player who think 8 high is like the 10th nuts or whatever which turns a good bluff bad imo.

.....Actually, the fact that you chose to bluff that type of player at all means that well...in fact...it was a bad bluff. Sorry, you were right.....please continue.

It was a shocker. He's generally pretty tight, & I like the guy a lot, because I can steal off him at will. Usually.

I asked the time-honoured question, once I'd recovered from the shock of seeing his hand.

"How could you call with 8 high?"

"Because it's the first hand I've had all night" he replied.

"Ahh, I see", I lied.

Whatever happened to Tenacious-D?

Was the bald guy Jack's brother?

I thought Jack Black would go on to become a sort of modern-day Robin Williams, if he could contain his amphetimine consumption, he is, or was, as funny as anyone I've ever seen.

You're talking about the 5-card hand.  I think tikay was referring to the hole cards the player had - that's what we were answering.  Both are equally valid I'd guess.
