Amrat raises to 42k utg, takes the blinds, then gets a walk the next hand too.

Antony Kennedy raises to 35k from the cut-off. Richard Simmonds calls from the big blind.

Flop:

Richard checks, Antony bets 40k, Richard check/raises to 170k with around 40k back. Antony passes face-up. Given how tight Richard has played so far, this seems like the correct move.

What do you guys think?

Board:

Marcus Bebb-Jones raises to 42k from utg, Jeff Burke re-raises pot for 92k more from the small blind. Paul Rogers gets out of the way. Marcus moves all-in. Jeff insta-calls and flips .

Marcus says, "I'm behind." He turns over .

Flop:

two hearts

Turn:

River:

And with that river, Jeff slaps his chair in frustration. Jeff is down to about 160k or so, whilst Marcus is over the 300k mark.

Jeff has a terrific game, & Bebb-Jones can play a bit, but my tip to win this has to be local boy Ashfag Ahmed - this guy is seriously good. And a cool dude, too. His Brother can play a bit too, they are a terrific coulpe of guys, who'd do well in Big-Buck Poker if they could be bothered to travel away from their home Venue, Walsall.

Paul Rogers raises from the small blind but Marcus Bebb-Jones isn't having any of that and re-raises the whole pot. Paul passes his Ace, Marcus shows A-K

There has actually been a deal done to give the lower spots more money. I don't know what it is, but I'll try and find out during the break coming up in a few minutes as well as the chip counts

Marcus bet 12k and Paul called.

Turn:

Marcus now bets 18k and Paul calls.

River:

Marcus checks, Paul bets 60k and Marcus, not impressed by the river, calls.

Paul shows his missed-tastic , Marcus takes it down with his .

Ok, what I've garned from the deal is that £10k has been taken from 1st, and £5k from 2nd and 3rd each and redistributed to the lower places, so that 9th gets £9k, 8th gets £11k, 7th gets £13k and 6th gets £15k, same as 5th I think.

Ashfag Ahmed raises to 38k from the button, Jeff Burke calls from the big blind.

Flop:

Jeff thinks, but checks, Ashfag announces, "Pot." Jeff insta-passes his Fours. Not the flop he wanted for his stop and go.
