Very short bit about the Appleby Fair on The One Show this evening - mostly about the horses but nothing of any real depth (was only 3-4 minutes). Will be on iPlayer at some point soon.

Today I will mostly be.....  Doing exactly as I like!

I'm not opening any emails, and I'm not answering the phone for anything work related. So there.

Every morning at around 5am, a pigeon with a wooden leg lands on the roof of my caravan and does a 20 minute song & dance routine.

One of the Grand kids has a large rubber toy snake. If I put that up there, I wonder If it would keep him off?

Luton tonight, £100 Freezeout, 8pm, 11,500 chips, 2 x 45 mina, then 30 mina all the way, all levels.

If you fancy it, & want to arrive earlier, we could go visit the Weir. I was there a few days ago, & the heron was standing guard atop the weir, those two huge brown trout were swimming around in that pool, & the Egyptian Geese goslings we saw are quite big now. The Jackdaws were everywhere, too.

Very tempting, but so is the thought of just pottering around at home. Play a little online, inspect the plants, talk to the horse, watch some TV, eat something nice...

Then again, there are more fish in Luton than those ones in the weir.....

Dithering....

For anyone who lives in the Derby/Nottingham area this small family chain of fish and chip shops are the nuts. The only place I really eat F+C tbh, most places are crap.......

NOW......with all the money-laundering precautions currently in place, more gyspies need more horses (as currency) so there's a kinda of boom in horse prices right now, & they trade for many times their practical value.
