I'd like to cross Russia on horseback.
Now that is an itch I would like to scratch at some point.
I reckon a horseback trek in Argentina and horseback Safari in Botswana will happen at some point over the next few years.
GTFO Andy, you've already told us that your scared shitless the minute the horse gets out of first gear.
Its true Ralph
But I can ride, I just need some practise at going fast
You have to be a pretty good rider to go on a horse safari, so my plan was to have a bunch of lessons. Then go on the Argentina trip and follow it fairly quickly with the Botswana trip. But it was expensive and holidays seasons didn't match to be able to do it that way. I will get round it it eventually, but in the meantime I've got a few places like China, Philippines, and Indonesia in the planning to keep me occupied
You ever been to Skeggy?
I love the Skeggy donkeys. they won't go a step beyond their turn around point on the beach.
If they get a big idiot aboard and he starts showing off, they can dump him on to the sand with consummate ease while retaining a look of absolute innocence.
That's the next Old Git's Outing sorted then with Woodsey as a guest.

In my local rag ran a little article entitled "Which breed of dog is right for you?" I think it's aimed at people who are considering buying a puppy for Christmas.
I particularly liked the ending, which gives advice on training and socialisation.
"...remember- your dog won't end the relationship because he can't be the dog you want him to be, or because he's not good enough for you, he'll just keep guessing and trying..."

Nov 24th. People have been sporadically letting off fireworks day and night for over six weeks now.
Isn't it time they were restricted to organised displays only?

Today's 'Stuck in my head' song.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7mpIBfXwJnk
From wikw
Her song "Show Me Heaven", which appeared on the soundtrack to the film Days of Thunder, was a number one single in the United Kingdom for four weeks in 1990.[1][3] She refused to perform this song in public up until recently, when she sang it for the first time in eighteen years
Now I need to know why she refused to perform it.

I think part if my problem is that I'm incompetent. I don't know how to do whatever it is I'm supposed to be doing.
Today, among other things, I have to
"Provide detailed information on the needs and issues facing Gypsy and Traveller sites in Derbyshire/East Midlands"
"
Cite examples of good practice in housing related issues from any work that has been done with Gypsy and Traveller Groups in Derbyshire and East Midlands"
