You left out a zero Tony, it's £200K per week the poor unfortunate has to get by on.
I could not get it right in my head Ralph, but you are quite right of course.
Some punishment that (even allowing for a few fines) that he takes 6 months off for refusing to play, & goes off to chill with his family, swim, play golf, & gets paid nigh on £6 million for that.
He returns to a chorus of boos, & is being cheered 20 minutes later.
I guess he will be sold on in the summer, & he & his advisors will pocket another 8 or 9 figure sum.

The government's just handed him another few hundred thousand a year on top of that as well with the changes to his tax bill. Assuming he pays one.

Football latest.
The Arse won away, making six wins on the bounce, & they have overturned a 10 point defecit only last month against the dastardly lilywhites down the road, (who could only draw @ home to
workaday Stoke
)
& are now THIRD in the PL. Champions League beckons again, & the Wenger doubters are not singing any more. Well not this week, anyway.
Resergunt Chelsea went to Man C & are resurging no more, after De Matteo's Men were beaten by Citeh, who recorded their 20th successive home win in the PL - a record.
Football fans NEVER forget or forgive, & they roundly booed the nasty horrible Tevez, (who has been sulking at home on a measly £20k per week for 6 months after disobeying his Manager's orders 6 months ago) when he came on as sub with 25 mins to go. He made an assist for Nasri to score the winner, so the football fans - those ones who never forget or forgive - cheered him to the rafters & applauded him off the pitch.
Liverpool were down in Shepherds Bush, meanwhile, & absolutely battered QPR, with an astonishing corner-count of 17-7, & were 2-0 up, home & hosed, with only 15 minutes remaining. They lost 3-2. Dalglish, in the post-match TV interview, looked thrilled to bits, & warmly congratulated QPR.
PS - Oh, & we got the lot on the tikay Tips thread. Sort of.
How very dare you my good man. Mr.Pulis is creating miracles with the squad he has. 93rd minute equaliser to get yourselves a point too.

Excellent, at least one of my jibes hit the spot. I put one in almost every Post, but the recipitents either miss them, or rise above them.
I agree entirely, in truth, Mr Pulis has done a quite splendid job, given the material & budget he has to work with.
The poor chap must have to rush around quite a lot, & I imagine the bigwigs in Stoke really appreciate that.........

Not what they said on MOTD, most where happy he was back. I'd imagine even more so when he setup the winner.

Where are you flying to Tom - East Midlands?
It is very foggy indeed in London today, many of the London Airports disrupted, but it should burn off quite soon.
Waiting @ airports for delayed flights is not much fun - are there no Airport shops there where you could buy a few nice cheap pressies?

Cheap? In Brussels? Haha! I realized that your winding me up as I type.
Plenty to do though. Watch planes come & go. Browse bookshop. Photograph sparrows nesting in roof truss. Chat to bloke operating ancient water pump....
Not delayed long enough really.
