Chip butties where the butter isn't running down your arms is wrong - FACT!

Is that above or below the skin?

Interesting point about butter, ive also cut down on my intake but can't have my Saturday morning fry up without butter on my toast... I don't care if my Saturday morning "fry up" is beans on toast with a poached egg...

I'm guessing none of you traditionalists have one of these then?

I have devised a test to see if you have these 'There must me a logical answer' tendencies.

You go in to a public toilet. It's clean and it's empty.

There are five cubicles to chooses from, all have their doors closed.

Based on this information, which one do you choose, and why?

The one without a " glory hole".

I always go to the far right stall and i'm not even sure why I do this.

On a different note:

I was sick of not being able to ever get snaps of birdies in the wild, so... "if you build it, they will come"

I can hear them tweeting, hopefully telling each other about the new restaurant in town, nothing has ventured down yet. I am worried that i have put it too close to the house but if it was any further away i don't think i would be able to get any good shots. There are no trees in my garden to put it near, so wherever it is it will be quite exposed. Any tips for this type of set up?

Great set up.

Give it a week or so, if they don't come, move it further away and then sneak it back a bit at a time when they're used to it.

Nice one, will do.

Will keep you updated with any snaps. I have a motion sensor video baby monitor, going to set that looking at it through the window and in theory it should switch on when anything comes on it. Saves me having to spy on it all day and leaves me free to do other things. #2birdswithonestone

In the meanwhile, now is a great time for photographing butterflies.

The squirrel has done a runner with one of my feeders. Again.

The next time you see me, I may be wearing a squirrel hat.

How is that going to work without trees or shrubs in the yard?

I'd them hanging on a clothes line and the feckers wouldn't call to feed.  When you said it was because we had no placed for them to hide in case of danger, I switched them to the front garden on the edge of really tall conifers and STILL no joy!  We've 3 types of feeders too.  Peanuts, seeds and fat balls.

If we get one of those posh feeder hanger thingys they'll turn up?!

And always choose the loo with a wall on one side.  Then you only have to keep an eye on two open sides as yer sat there instead of three.  Keeping in mind we chicks usually have a hand bag and shopping stuff with us that we don't want stolen.
