The true romantics among to might have also noticed some of the other nostalgic icons, the Lambretta, the beautiful Bedford bus, and Henry Mancini's timeless classic, Moon River.

Do you still play on Laddies Tom? back in the day I remember you generally did very well in tourneys, and yet always had time to answer questions from those of us generally playing at lower stakes

No, I'm afraid I don't Graham, although I do still have a soft spot for Laddies and I made loads of friends on there that carried over into real life.

I think going out there and winning £2,000 to pay the monthly bills and support the family by playing cards is a very cool thing.

No serious. If I came back for first month and earnt £2k playing cards I would be very happy. Didn't know why you were talking it down when winning £2k and paying the bills by playing cards is a good achievement. If you can get consistent returns at those hours while having fun then happy days imo. Reminds me of the last Rocky film when he still has something left in the tank.

I was very happy, I played it down because I'm modest, as well as charming and handsome.

I'm off to see the doctor in a few minutes, he's going to inject cortisone into my hips. (bursitis). While explaining the procedure, he was kind enough to show me his text book.
"insert needle until it strikes the trochantal bone....."
Gee, thanks Doc.
