PS - How are the Cash Poker P & L figures so far this month?
My March P & L figures so far are - £341 after 107 hours of poker.
Interestingly, it all hinges on the outcome of 4 hands in each of which I got stacked for ~ £200. So if I win these 4 instead of losing them, I would be + £1259 Now.
Hand one was was when I flopped two pair v Nik "Shenanigans" Flanagan's top set. Nick raised pre and got two callers, I called with 10 6s. The flop was 10 high all diamonds. I bet, Nik rr and I pushed.
Hand two I raised from the button with Q10 and got 1 caller, the flop was Q 10 4. My caller had Q 4. It all went in and he rivered a 4.
Hand 3 was AA into QQ all in pre.
Hand 4 was My set of fours into a set of nines.
The hands are irrelevant really, except to show how little the difference between a winning month and a losing month can be.
Variance doesn't have to work too hard to make it's presence felt.
Anyway, March isn't over yet....

Interesting about the capital G Tom, noted.
I usually use 'traveller' not Gypsy anyway, just seems less formal and more of a modern term, could be wrong obv.

You're right Adrian, well, you're right when you say you could be wrong.
Gypsies are an ethnic group with a shared history, language and culture, travellers are usually people who have
decided
to adopt a travelling lifestyle.
Irish Travellers, (Note the upper case T) are an ethnic minority.
There are no Irish Gypsies.
Confused? I'm not surprised.

its funny how in life like in poker i suppose you can 'bluff' someone into doing something you want them to do by acting daft to make them think they are getting one over on you.
everyone thinks they will outdo the 'Dinlo'

Just starting on Film 4 + 1, Serpico. Fact based under cover cop film from 1973.
I saw it at the pictures when it first came out. It's a great film, or at least I remember it as a great film. Some don't stand the test of time, and when you see them again years later, they're crap.

Can you name this guy?
He's like the 70's version of Rowan Atkinson.
