Absolutely nothing, but they didn't contribute to his possible inclusion in my 'hero' list.

I think that "hero's list" probably implies a list belonging to a hero as opposed to a list of heroes.

If it were a list belonging to several heroes it would be a heroes' list.

I'm getting less certain and more confused about it now..
