I'm writing this, and I'm sure that no one will have the slightest idea what I'm on about, but.....
Have you ever had that feeling that you have just taken possession of your mind and body at this very moment?
It's like a feeling of, hang on, where did this life come from and how did I get here? Its like you've been in suspended animation and you've just regained consciousness, you have to kind of stop and take stock. Everything seems really strange and a bit scary.
Just me then eh?
Thought so.
Freaks me out when I start thinking about why we are here, what purpose we have and how we are going to go. It's scary cos we will never know the true answers we search for.
Take death for example, it's the most scariest thing because u don't know when or how or why u are going. You don't know if there's anything after this life and what will happen to your soul when it all ends.

Cracking couple of pages, diary has really picked up a pace...
There speaks a man with class, wisdom defying his tender years, supreme good looks, & who crushes at poker.
Glad you are liking my work, unsurprisingly.
Apologies Tom, thought this was Tony's diary...
Nah! He just came here to pracice the

Not knowing how it's all going to end, not for me, but for everyone and everything, that's what bugs me.
Think of all the things that have happened during your lifetime. All those big news stories. all those inventions, all those memories, all the little stuff that only matters to you and yours....
Now imagine all the millions of unimaginable things that will happen after you and I have gone.
Damn! I hate to miss it.

dave gorman used to have a spot on his podcast called "moments of existential self doubt" - would you call it that?
Dave Gorman, was he the fridge man?
Moments of existential self doubt eh? Sounds good. Off to google.
The fridge man is Tony Hawks Tom if you mean "Round Ireland with a Fridge". Incidently the book far better than the film.
Dave Gorman is from Stafford, very funny and very clever.

This is incredibly well put if you don't mind me saying. Fearing death per se is like fearing life. But man I know the sadness that is quite overwhelming if you ponder what you're gonna miss

I went up and played nine holes of golf today and encountered a strange phenomenon of nature whilst I was there.
There was a swarm of mosquito/horse-fly/flying ant creatures all over the place but mainly in or close to the wooded areas. Well not a swarm as such but just an awful lot of them all over the place and nobody seemed to know exactly what they were.
They were the size of horse-flies but with a long dangly appendage on their undersides and quite a few were dead on the ground so I assumed that they were some kind of insect that lives for ony a day or so, mates if he's lucky, and then dies.
I proffered the opinion that they were flying-ants although they did seem rather big, but there was noone there with a definite opinion.
Over to you Tom.

Possibly if they're about an inch long with a half inch dangly bit below.
