Is that a sabre-toothed runner-bean that Mr Tomato is impaled upon?

No, it's a laurel tree reflected in a pairing knife.
That's paring knife, b.t.w.

No need to thank me.

Correct.

Very disappointed in the father.

I've thought of a suitable name for my squirrel with half his tail missing.

Arthur.

I'll try and get a pic or two during the week.

I would call him anecdote.

This Diary continues to, err, fascinate.

Yesterday, Quality Street Tins.

Today, Tom purchased some washers.

Incred.

Tomorrow, we shall discuss the price of potato crisps.

Cool, some economics to add to the art, science and engineering discussion.  Best thread in the house.

And from Red's washers post we've touched on numismatism, metalurgy, the law..... It's all good, I mean we could be discussing sticky buns and Las Vegas architecture

Definitely better than the alternative. It's like watching concrete dry over there.

Please.

Set, cure, go off, not "dry".

Concrete does not "dry".

Sheer ignorance.

go easy on the poor dear....he doesn't even know the difference between cement and talcum powder....

(yes, I know "ha ha" Grin)

I love that it has a cooker knob and a conker.

The conkers should be just about ready, been in there 5 years  Smiley

As for the cooker knobs, tenner apiece.

This song springs to mind.

I prefer Arthur Taily.

We have a house full fairly regularly, the lasses all seem to congregate in the kitchen.

Table to cooker = 3 feet, with chairs occupied ~18 inch.

Route to fridge innit, hence...

Probably safer to remove them, replaced 7 so far, need 2 more now.

Haha! I couldn't have hoped for a better explanation.

You don't get stuff like this on the concrete diary.

This is the best stuff ever, I love it.

So far this morning, I've cleaned a car engine, a lighting board and a pair of canvas shoes.

I think it could even remove the stains from a shady past.

Your android phone comes with a default browser that isn't Chrome.  You can download Chrome from Google Play.  It's ok, but I prefer Dolphin browser on my Android phone.  Download both and see which one you get on best with.  I think both are an improvement on the stock browser.

Chrome:  https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.android.chrome&hl=en
Dolphin:  https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=mobi.mgeek.TunnyBrowser&hl=en

If you log in, you can then install apps from the Play Store via your laptop browser.
