Give us your money now, and we might give you some of it back when you're dead.

He can shove my free Parker pen where the sun don't shine sideways.

These are among the most useless horrible value financial products on the market - the equivalent of payday loans.  I have no idea how Parkinson can sleep at night touting shite for a few quid.  Hasn't he got enough money? WAC

Got to agree on that.  I haven't looked for a while, but they used to be just your money back first two years and if you died anytime after about year 5, you've paid more than you get back.  Absolutely dreadful, but don't forget you get a parker pen!

Vorderman the same, how she can keep selling those pricey loans for all these years?  I might not have the exact figures but when she left Countdown she was offered half a million a year, and she let it be known it was a disgrace that she was expected to take a 90% pay drop.  So she was on £5 million or so, plus all the other stuff she did, did she really need to be the respectable face of priceyloans.com?  I don't normally wish ill on anyone, but I'd have been happier if she fell flat on her face after Countdown.  Surely she must have enough now to give it a miss.  Funny thing is that these days some of the loan companies are so much more dreadful that some of the other advertisers almost look respectable.  After all they are only hugely overprice as opposed to ridiculously overpriced.

The Open.

What is causing those rugby ball sized shadows that run around the greens like cockroaches in some shots?

They aren't shadows they are insects on the camera lens.

Tiger Woods.

The sheer number of people willing to do that was the source of many of his problems.

I did wonder if it was an invitation.

I would like to have a few of em, they make a fortune now !  I can remember i could only lift half empty ones ( or half full ) depending on your outlook, onto the 'top deck' as a nipper. Then they done away with churns and went to tankers, made life much cushtier for the drivers. Even now around here there are still the remains of churn stands beside the road where the farmers would bring them to if they had hard to access farms.

When the churn stands were out of sight of the farm, we kids would often lift the lid and scoop a jam jar full of creamy milk off the top.
