I just heard that the PGA are going to ban the use of anchored strokes. I had absolutely no idea what that meant so I went googling.

I'm not sure banning is fair or reasonable, but I would be open to persuasion if someone could put forward a good argument.

Ernie Els must be on mega tilt.

He pulled his drive into the crowd on the first hole and hit a kid, causing some fairly serious injury according to my fairly sketchy sources, but I reckon that must have been what twisted his melon so much to behave so unusually.

Ernie's one of the good guys.

Fascinating, but let me ask you a question, Rich.

When you get up in the morning, & log on to your computer, how many different websites do you check?

You must check 20 for Fred alone. Now we have BarometricPressureNearWhereWeLive.com.

So, how many, & if it's not too personal, name a few of the odd ones?

Presumably, you check the Online Newspapers, too?

Yes, just tightly control what and who you follow

make a list of your interests, then search for the best accounts

some of the images and content is great

They ban if they think that the integrity of the game is under threat from innovations in clubs or methods of striking the ball.

They banned the croquet mallet style of putting, by standing astride the line of the putt, as it made putting to easy.

The main annoyance about the anchored putter isn't that it is being banned, but that it has taken so long to ban it (it is an established method with many young golfers having always used it).

Went to my niece's wedding yesterday. Spent most of the time reminiscing with my peers, as old blokes tend to do.

If we were to write it all down in a book, we would have to burn it immediately.

A rare photo of all my girls together in one place.
