News update for my biker chums.

1: I can now park my motorcycle on the deck of an aircraft carrier without worrying that it will become too rusty to fly.

2: Ducks like motorbikes.

She's gleaming Red!!

I treated mine with Muc-off's rust preventer which I already had (ACF-50 after payday) - I'll not do it on the drive though as it makes tarmac rather slippery. I spent as long hosing and brushing the tarmac as I did cleaning and rust proofing the bike....

You been watching this Tom?

http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/p0276ppy/human-universe-2-why-are-we-here

a quote from Prof Cox

A game of cricket is played out according to a set of laws and so it is with the universe. And here are the laws of the universe -the standard model of particle physics and this is Einstein’s theory of General Relativity and you can fit them easily on a scorecard.  And here are the laws of cricket and it has to be said, at least in this notation, that cricket is far more complicated than the universe.

I'll look out for those Rod.

Did you get any practice in today, and have you booked your theory test yet?

I got a wee run out the back roads, working on braking & hill starts as bits I'd like to be better at. Biggest hassle of getting a new bike is the clutch is not as forgiving as the bikes with thousands of miles on them I did the CBT on - so it's well easy to stall.

I haven't booked my theory test yet, will need to get that done.
