I'll tell you what though, paint and painting techniques must have come on leaps and bounds. You hardly ever see a rusty car nowadays.

You rarely see a car in this condition these days, even if it's been standing for donkeys years. (Unless it's been burned out of course)

Hands up anyone who remembers Mr Beresford.

Well his skirt was getting so long that all the other plants had started calling him Mrs Beresford, so I denuded him a bit. He'll thank me later.

That’s a very domesticated looking shed Smiley

Well because we live in a caravan it's easier to have some separate facilities, that way we can have a bigger fridge and some other bits and bobs, but mainly I can fry bacon and other stuff without being killed by Mrs Red.

The shed, (Portacabin really) has a partition with a second bathroom on the other side.

Get us, posh eh?

I renovated it during the heatwave last summer.

If you're having your tea, look away now.

Something strange happened to me today, I'm actually a bit reluctant to tell you about it, it seems so far fetched.

I'd gone to see a woman at the council about a tipping permit for the local refuse site and I was sitting opposite her at a desk/counter thing discussing it when what I can only assume to be a petrified bogey shot out of my nose, bounced on the desk with an audible ping, and flew over her right shoulder. (It would have hit her in the décolletage if she hadn't jinked to the left).

For a moment we both sat there in shocked silence, wondering how to proceed.

I opened my mouth to speak and she looked at me beseechingly, every fibre in her body seemed to be saying "Please don't mention it".

So I didn't, I just carried on as if nothing had happened and so did she.

I had to get it off my chest though (No pun intended) even if no one believes me. I wonder if she feels the same?

I have to see her again next week. That should be interesting.

It shall be mine, oh yes, it shall be mine. (On kindle of course)

It is on BBC R4 this week. 9.45am, the brain section today was excellent

Correct yung David.

I was going to listen to it but it will be a truncated version and don't want to spoil it.

It's my get before Xmas Audible list so if you have an old Audible account I can send it to you if you decide you do want to listen to it, just pm me.

That's an exciting offer but I don't know what an old Audible account is Lol.

As long as you have an Audible account - it's an Audio Book club, part of Amazon - even if it's not been active for a while! They have a good joining offer but then a lot of people don't carry on with the monthly cost.
