Doobs, I think we've met but I can't be sure. Do you look a bit like Phil Silvers, AKA Sargent Bilko?
I don't know if we have met, I have heard you speak but I did watch some dog training videos once, so it may just be that. Pretty sure we haven't shared a table because I am sure I'd have took the opportunity for a chat. I didn't get out much even before lockdown!
I must have, confused you, (and Bilko) with someone else then.
Perhaps we can organise things so that we are at the same venue one day in the future.
You will have to post a few pics, (Did you say you have trouble posting them?)
My memory for names and faces is shocking, and it isn't getting better. Weirdly I am much better when I hear people speak. I wouldn't be offended if I say I don't remember meeting you anyway.

Yes, that's definitely you. I must have seen you somewhere.

Last time I saw you would be DTD circa 2013?!!
Hi Stu.
2013 sounds about right.
Were you married and sensible by then?
Married in the summer of 2013, and then George arrived in November 2014.
Not sure sensible is the word! I think it became more a case optimal time management!
Fond memories of those day's though when so many Blondes and associates were there most weekends.
In no particular order.....
Blatch, Bedi, Mitch, PLinton, Maria, Barry, Dan Phillips, Giblin
Yes, so many great characters, I bet we could name dozens more if we tried. Great days.
It's making me smile trying!
Girgy, Guy Johnson, Mr Milligan and the occasional lesser spotted Paperestis migrating north.

Girgy!
I wonder what happened to him?
I used to give him loads of stick but fair play to him, he took it well.

Various driving jobs, think he was driving buses but its been a couple of years at least since I last saw/heard anything.

Pretty sure this was the last time i saw you in person Tom. There was a hugeeeeee overlay in this event (which is why we were both there) and i remember your blue van being parked right outside the casino on the seafront and talking to you briefly. Think it was the last time i saw Eso Kral as that was his local in those days. Wonder what Eso is up to? He was part of the furniture at the monthly DTD 300's in that era as well.

That's right Arb, we shared a table for a while. I busted right around the bubble and was absolutely devastated.
I seem to remember that you either lost your keys or had your car pinched. (I was genuinely impressed by the fact that you drove an older car that was obviously on the firm because it was a good user that had already done it's depreciating)
I may have a pic from that weekend, I'll try to find it.

I used to love that room at Westcliff.
There was a little cabin on the seafront a few hundred yards along that did a proper old-fashioned fried breakfast, which always taste better at the seaside.

God you have a fantastic memory for 7 years ago. I ended up having an all night drinking/cash game session at the casino until early hours then played blackjack until 8am ish then got a taxi back to the hotel and left my car keys pissed up in the taxi and the taxi driver brought them into the casino the following afternoon after i had busted out the final day wondering how i was going to get home!
'On the firm' meaning fully paid up car? I bought that 307 for £3000 when i came back from Malta in 2008 and did all my poker travelling miles in it between 2008-2016 before it was traded in for £70 for something newer which i still own in 2017. Planning on having the new car 'on the firm' until its worthless as well in ten or so years. I don't understand people constantly changing their car (especially when they pay cash for it).
Five years since i last played a live poker mtt went out in style at Old Trafford in those Stadium tour events Rob did according to the Mob in Jan 2016. Seems much longer than five years ago.

His juice bar has long gone.
