Girgy!

I wonder what happened to him?
I used to give him loads of stick but fair play to him, he took it well.

Last I heard of Girgy he had a number of little ones including twins at one point I think?

Various driving jobs, think he was driving buses but its been a couple of years at least since I last saw/heard anything.

Not sure if I was dreaming but I think he got absolutely ripped?

I'm off to see if I can find evidence of this......

yeah, came across him on Facebook a month or so ago and he is now a personal trainer.

His juice bar has long gone.

Ha, not paying attention, was talking about Eso Kral.

'On the firm' meaning fully paid up car?   I bought that 307 for £3000 when i came back from Malta in 2008 and did all my poker travelling miles in it between 2008-2016 before it was traded in for £70 for something newer which i still own in 2017.  Planning on having the new car 'on the firm' until its worthless as well in ten or so years.  I don't understand people constantly changing their car (especially when they pay cash for it).

That's the way Arb. WP I say.

Miss his estate agent/juice bar/punting stories.

He certainly loved a punt!

Just seen Alan Stearn up there in the pics.

What a guy!

95% of the time I'm first up in the morning. I make the tea and put the heating on.

It sounds daft, but there's an exquisite pleasure in getting out of bed and getting dressed on a freezing morning.

If the heat is always on you don't notice it, but if you get to sip your scalding tea as things slowly go from cold to warm it's a real pleasure.

Our heating has a timer but I've never used it. Pressing a button and sitting back and waiting for it to warm up seems like a miracle when you used to have to light the fire.

Cracking photo Tom.

Robins seem to be remarkably tame, & will come very close.

If you think about our standard of living and our technological advances and contrast that with third world countries, how do you think civilisation in general is progressing? As well as could be expected or should be doing better?
