I've been watching Meghan Markle dishing out hugs to the LA fire victims. I notice she is still using the Duchess of Sussex title despite severing ties with the Royal family. Apparently it can't be taken away from her because the Queen gave it to her as a wedding present. I'm not comfortable with the idea of giving people weight loss drugs on the NHS. Seems to me that it will encourage them to eat more, not less. If anyone is genuinely interested in losing weight but lack the will power, I will be happy to lock them in my shipping container and feed them 1200 calories per day through a crack in the door.  |

Just in the interest of full disclosure, I put on a bit of weight on the run up to Chrimbo and during the festivities but I started my diet on New Year's Day and since then I've managed to gain another 3lb.

What I could do is get into the shipping container, fasten the doors together with a padlock and chain leaving just enough gap for me to squeeze out, then tighten the chain by one link so that I couldn't squeeze out until I'd lost some weight and then throw the key through the gap in the open door.
Job done. No will power needed.
