It's all sandstone. The detached piece is the top right hand corner of a lintel of the first part of a bay window. So there is more stonework above that and to the side of it (the lintel of the centre of the bay window).

I think Gorilla Glue, (Original) would do it if you can hold it in place during the curing process. If you do try it, follow the instructions carefully. It does expand a bit.

My local range now prices balls at £8.50 for 50 and £12 for 100. So as 100 is too many and 50 is too expensive in comparison to the price of 100, I don't bother unless I go out with a mate and share 100 and have a coffee and chat afterwards.
