Ahh Canary and Linnet?

Re Robin picture - you drinking Premium in the day again mate?
Drinking is not the answer.  Not big and not clever.

It looks like a yellowhammer, and I think the one Kev B posted is a jay, but it's difficult to be sure. (Photographing birds is hard innit?)

I'm thrilled to see you taking an interest in the wildlife though.

Red / Boldie

I've was working in Prague last week and read a couple of articles in the local press, that I have been reminded about when reading Boldie's post.

It may / may not be of interest, I'll let you guys decide, but I think ties in with what Boldie wrote, just a different country, one of them is on the net here;

As George Orwell cleverly observed in the 1930's (in a book I am still to send to Mr Red...which shall be done this weekend) "In times of economic crisis the people will either turn to socialism or to the extreme right. "...he wasn't half clever that man.

Blimey Boldie, he hardly needed to be half-clever to forecast that...

True but the world's leaders didn't see it coming, did they? (or actually..fair point..they did but didn't give a hoot)

I'm sure there's a ferret story not totally completed (after a detour).  Or another dog story to be told. Please Tom!
