This thread could be turned into a book, no doubt about it.  Reading Jack Dee's book at the moment, each chapter is just a story about a part of his life, its a great read.

*EDIT -but this is better.

Celebrity autobiographies are all the rage at the moment, and some, (Paul O'Grady's for instance) are stonking reads

It's not something i would normally read but my sister bought it for me and said 'you think your funny, you'll like this'.  a present and a compliment...

Right! I'm off to DTD to see if I can improve on Sunday's £2 profit. (Don't tell Fat & Fatter, they always try to spoil it)

MBSFN to be RED-DOG!!

Not only does he bink a queen when all in against AK on a A high board last hand of the night to get out of it in a £500+ pot, he then makes QUAD F'KIN JACKS in a TEN way Omaha flip at the end of the night to bink £250.

Bad run over it seems!

I seem to have rambled on a bit here. I've only addressed half the issue and I don't think I've done that very well.

Making perfect sense to me

Agreed good read Red.

But whilst on the subject of autobiographies, it is imperative that no one buys Nigel Mansells book, it is the worst book ever written.

The Verdict

Very good flavour, seems like a 'cleaner' taste if that makes sense.  Slightly stronger than I normally have it but somebody knocked on the door, and i can adjust the amount of tea next time, then again it is very good.  It was a little more faffy than using a cup and a bag but for a proper tea drinking session that involves more than one cup i will defo be doing this again.

Is reusing the tea leafs standard practice?  The missus is home in about 45 mins and i would like to see if she can tell the difference without me telling her!

Welcome Soviet, there is no going back now. I tried to switch back to bags a while ago, but after several experiments with different shapes and brand of bag i realised i was wasting my time.

made another pot this morning, I've adjusted the amount of tea in the pot and its actually the best cup of tea i've ever had.  i've even been on a website that sells loose leaf tea.  looks abit expensive so i will stick with the twinings for the time being!

Sigh...

Let me translate.

Red was terribly unlucky early on when he flopped a set of fives only lose to Habib who called all in for a middle pin eight.

Never the less, he took it like a man and continued to play top class poker all night, despite having no premium hands and missing every flop.

Eventually, he managed to get it all in pre with QQ V AK. and, for once, the best hand actually held up.

At the end of the night we all took part in a 10 way - £25 Omaha turnover. I usually win these, but this time I didn't and Tom did.

Well played Tom.

Your friend
Mitch.

I got flashed by a speed camera before Christmas: Bugger.

I was only doing 56 in a 50 zone: Bugger.

I was offered a place of a "Speed awareness training day" instead of the 3 points: Wiiiiiii

I still had to pay the £60 fine: Bugger.

The training day is tomorrow and it starts at 8:30am. Double Bugger.
