1. The signing of the Magna Carta
2. New York City - September 11, 2001.
Well i have done number 2 ( sort of).
Left New York from a holiday in the morning of September 11th 2001, we were in the air when the towers got hit, landed, drove home and wondered why all my family and friends were at my house going mental.
Very weird experience walking in and watching it on the TV, i puked.
We were in the twin towers the night before drinking with friends who worked in the towers, we got absolutely wasted that night; luckily for them as both of them didn't make it to work the next day because of hangovers although we didnt know that at the time and thought the worst.
Probably one of the most weird experiences of my life.

I reckon one of my picks would have to be seeing Moses parting the Red Sea and the Jews escaping from their bondage in Egypt.
And another would be checking out those pyramids in Machu Picchu when they were being constructed (aliens?).
Still thinking about the third..

My three:
1. Inside the White House when the decision was made to use the atomic bomb on Japan.
2. Wembley Stadium - 4th March 1967.
3. Outside my flat one morning about three years ago so I could find out which scrote nicked my bike.

You don't think that the Jews were enslaved by the Egyptians or the Red Sea trick or both ?

Why would you say that ?
There is almost as much evidence that the ancient Jews were enslaved by the Egyptian pharoes dynasty, (ie Moses) as there is to the existence of the origins of most modern monotheistic beliefs.

It's an interesting line to take bolt.
Because the evidence they were enslaved is there - the evidence of the Exodus is what many historians dispute.

That would be because it never happened. (or at least there is no archeological evidence whatsoever found that it did actually happen)
. can someone link me to some evidence (other than the Ipuwer papyrus) ? it would be appreciated..I've never seen any mention of evidence.

what evidence, the exodus? the bible is all over the place with that one.
there are no specific dates or references to whom the Pharaoh at the time may have been but it seem to intimate it was during the reign of Rameses the great(which was something like 1200bc) and then there are other widely held beliefs that it was during the building of the pyramids which was circa 2500bc, it seems to take pieces from both and merge them, it becomes more vague as the story is told through the ages and becomes an accepted fallacy, the bible stories arnt meant to be taken literally, theyre moral guidelines used to control and influence people, its not real.
excavations from the site of the great pyramid show that at the time of it being built the workers were treated very well, they had comfortable living quarters and was allowed to have there families move close to the site, they would work in shifts and have 2 days off at a time, hieroglyphics were not anywhere near as advanced as they became 1500 years later but drawings on tombs and cave walls in the desert showed early workers being treated very well and further more they were allowed to be buried upon death very close to the Pharaohs tomb, it was considered a great honour in that that could hopefully tag along with him in the afterlife and was a reward for working so hard, this wouldn't have been extended to slaves.
during the period of Ramses they found on sites where they built great monuments millions of fish and animal bones showing the workers were very well fed, there were huge holes in the ground where they brewed an early type of alcohol for the workers, remains of loads of the workers found had repaired injuries, broken arms, legs etc that had been treated medically and healed in a way that gave an insight into their early understanding of the corporal human body and that that they looked after and cared for the workers.
they used to line up to try and get work building monuments for the Pharaohs, it was great honour.
I'm not saying there wasn't localised slavery, it would be silly to suggest that any ancient civilisation didn't have that going on but the mass exodus of slaves to biblical proportions or to the extent people just blindly accept? it just didn't happen.

Ahahaha well that is exactly why I would like to be there as an observer so that I could clarify the situation.
PS How did I know that boldielocks would feel compelled to stick his oar in ?

Going back in time 3000 years to be a mute invisible observer and you want evidence, the bandit was right !

Oh, that was all I meant.
Even with the parts that have any historical basis you have to use a 'bible filter' to scale down the story to a more realistic scenario.
