Microgaming do seem to have cornered the
South African
global market in brain-dead software developers.
Sigh. I suspected as much.
Thanks for pointing me in the direction of that 5k comp btw, (Although I did manage to donk out of it on hand #2 last night)

Q: Am I a miserable old bastard?
I live in an all girl household, which inevitably leads to me being exposed to some TV programmes that I wouldn't normally choose to watch. (See examples below)
This Morning.
Loose Women.
Bargain Hunt.
60 Minute Makeover.
Dickinson's Real Deal.
The Jeremy Kile Show.
Cash in the Attic.
Murder, She Wrote.
Trisha Goddard.
Come Dine With Me.
Fair enough, it's a free country, they can watch what they like, I don't try to pull rank or anything like that.
What I can't help doing though, is muttering under my breath, sighing, and tutting. I've rolled my eyes so much, it's a wonder they haven't fallen out and bounced across the carpet. (Hence the accusation alluded to at the beginning of this post).
Well am I?
Let them watch the tosh Tom, & while they do, go & wash the pots, or at least make a start on them. Guaranteed to induce female tilt, that. Very territorial, are women.

none of it compares to the rubbish i have seen in the last few days - 'wanted down under' takes you typical brain dead family who have decided they have had enough of life in blighty, and want a new life down under. so the BBC takes them on a weeks tour of Sydney, puts them in a harbour apartment worth about 3 million, and then take them to see three houses. One is often just about in their price range (which they never like and isnt suitable despite being like windsor fuckin castle compared to the place they are living at the moment), one above it (which they could just about 'make do' with), and the other, miles above what they can afford. The invariably choose the most expensive one, and then the shows presenter sits them down with a calculator, paper and a packet of crayons to try and work out their 'budget'. They then realise that they could maybe afford a dog kennel on the beach, and ends up all emotional because their 'dream' life is being threatened and it just isnt fair.
at no point does the lightbulb click on that living in australia isnt like Neighbours, and the reason they are miserable in the UK is because of their crap dead end jobs, exactly the type they are going to get over there as well.

Question for Ladbrokes players.
Laddies have introduced a "Choose where you want to sit" feature, which is useful for me.
I like to play overlapping tables, but even though one or more tables are partially obscured, with the ability to choose my seat I can still position myself where my cards are always visible. That way, I don't time out with AA while I'm messing about with J9o on the other table.
Well that's the theory, but as far as I can see, Laddies lets you choose where to sit, but then sits you in the same position on every table, (which kinda defeats the purpose).
Tell me I'm missing something.....
Tom, Laddies have had seat preference for at least two years now IIRC.
The way I use it is to sit myself bottom right and then move one table to the top left of my screen and the other table(I only play two) to the bottom right of my screen and I can see all of one table and about half of the other.
But you can't sit at different seats on different tables?
No but you can still see your hand on both tables so that you don't time out with AA when messing with J9 on the other.

If your sitting bottom right on the top left table, doesn't the table on the bottom right cover those cards? You're sitting in the exact spot where they overlap.

No! You have that one "on top".
I speak, by the way, as a serial 4-Tabler these days......AND I can choose whatever seat I want on each Table.

BTW- The fact that you never mess about with J2o is irrelevant.
