Have you tried a dishcloth on a stick?

As you may recall, in the early 60's, many cars had a windscreen wiper (just the one) that was operated from an air reservoir, & when you drove uphill, air did not go into the reservoir. So drive uphill in the rain without a wiper, drive downhill with the wiper zooming back & forth at the speed of light. Utterly reliable though.

Air reservoir, rubber tube, one wiper, on off button. Nothing to pop on.

I remember when window washers first became compulsory (I think it coincided with the opening of the M1)

You could buy a "Conversion kit" which consisted of a length of tube with a nozzle on one end and a plastic bottle on the other.

You would wedge the nozzle so that it pointed in the general direction of the window, and put the bottle in the foot well of the car where you could stamp on it.

I dont know if this helps but i have my original aol modem just sat here, it doesnt come with a wireless bit but it may sort you out, depends if you use wireless or not i guess.

I have a wireless thing i changed it over to as well but I cant really just give that one away.

This all reminds me to sell some stuff on ebay tomorrow.

Apart from brief periods during the mating season, moles don't share tunnels. Each one has his, (or her) own private one.

I suppose it saves the need for passing places.
