Got heads up. I had 14k, he had 240k. I managed to get level. then we got all in, I had QQ and he had A9 but he binked an ace.

1265 euros tho, Kerching!

Nice Tom, well done,

I've had a decent day today, but it's the first for a while.

I'm not as good at this game as I thought I was.

Never thought I'd see those words on blonde. Only fishes admit that.

Helpful Hint. Try that Rush Poker thing.

I read the Rush Poker Thread yesterday, & nobody loses when they play Rush Poker, everyone wins. Full-Tilt really ought to hurry up & Patent a poker game where everybody wins. Neat.

The problem is the fish. "We" (that's all the winners, which is, apparently, everybody) need to work out how to find "them" (the dumbass Fish) before they all go busto. I wonder what happens then?

Interesting comment. Playing these games would be an interesting way for anyone to test out their cash game skills, if they cannot currently beat the Rush games at .5/1 and below I would suggest they steer clear of cash games altogether as they are never likely to beat them..............

Well if everyone is winning, how does that work? Wink

Well they aren't obviously. I have seen some pretty terrible play by some blondes as well tbh , no way they are winning with what I've seen, and no I won't name 'em LOL.

Or you could move into the other field...

Quite so. Seems perfectly reasonable to me.

Tom has all that land, in the two fields, but he has to go & plonk himself & Mrs Red + tribe, right down where the moles are. It's harrassment, & it's moleist.

Judging by the way you mistreated that poor penguin last night Tikay, I'd suggest your position is weakening!.

The penguin had the last laugh. I was asked to volley it across the studio, in the Live Show, & did so instinctively. With my slightly bad knee. Which is now less slightly bad, i.e. twice as painful.

You've depressed me again now, as I messed up good & proper on the 2nd of last night's 2 Shows, it took me 18 hours to get it out of my system, & now you've reminded me.

Never realised you still watched. Note that several blondes (including "fat" Jakally) have qualified for the next phase of TP. Beaneh (Titanium Bean) was "that" close, I was gutted for him.

Messed up? How?  I didn't spot anything.

I always watch when Orford and yourself are on, not for the analysis you understand, more the stand up routine!.

I really like the total player concept too, although the American fella is somewhat tilting!

But seriously good luck to everyone involved especially the Blonde lads, some serious incentives there to do well.

Anyway as you have been outed as a penguin basher, can Mr Red kill the moles?

The gate at the top of my lane is next to a to a little kiddies park, nothing much, just two swings and a bench for the mums to sit on.

When I came home from DTD last night, I stopped to open the gate. (I always keep it closed at night, otherwise I end up with courting couples in cars blocking the lane)

Anyway, as I got out of the van, a big Alsatian x dog came at me with all his attack signals switched on. His ears were flat back, his hackles were up, and his teeth (Magnificent teeth they were too) were bared. He wasn't barking, but he was snarling like a good un. He really was an awesome sight.

I looked around quickly, but there was no where for me to go. I might have made it back in to the van, but I had closed the door. I turned back to face the dog, there was no time to be scared, (I bloody was though).

I held my hands low, palms out towards him as he came. When he was almost upon me I shouted "OK OK It's all right" at the top of my voice. He checked immediately, (Thank God) a foot or so short of where I stood.

He continued to bark and snarl, but I knew that I was safe now. A dog that is going to bite you doesn't stop halfway through, he just gets on with it. The only exception would be a shy biter, but that type of dog doesn't come from the front with all guns blazing, (He's too scared of you for that), he comes from behind, nips your ankle, and runs away.

So I knew that the crisis was over, and that the noise he was making now was just the steam going out of him. He was a nice big sensible dog who had just got the wrong end of the stick, and as I looked beyond him to the little park, I saw the reason why.

His owner was sitting on a swing, saying nothing. (Apparently enjoying the situation) I realised immediately what had happened.

When I had jumped out of the van, the dog had thought that I was going to attack his owner, he was having none of that, and he sprang into action. As soon as he realised that I wasn't a threat, he started to calm down.

The owner still hadn't moved, or made any attempt to call the dog back. I was beginning to get severely pissed off.

I made no indication that I had noticed the owner, instead I turned to my van and opened the door, then I said to the dog in an excited voice "Come on boy, in you get..."

The dog jumped in straight away, I got in beside him and drove off down the lane. Behind me I could hear a panicky voice shouting "Whoa, stop, that's my dog that is"

I stopped outside my caravan and waited for him to come. He walked slowly, obviously afraid. Well fuck him, he wasn't bothered when his dog scared the crap out of me.

"Er, I think you have my dog" He lied. "Oh I'm sorry, I lied, I thought he was a stray.

We both kept up the pretence as I let his dog out of the van and watched them walk away together.

I had to clean a lot of muddy footprints off my upholstery this morning, but it was worth it.

If you want to see me really scared, come to Derby Cathedral on Wed the 27th. It's national holocaust memorial day and I've been asked to speak at the service.

Great story red!! Billie is now getting to a size where people are nervous around her so we are extra careful when she is off the lead.

Luckily she has no real aggression in her (not that we take any chances of course!), but she loves to chase people on bikes or runners. This is something we are working on and she is responding well, however I was taking her for one of my 'night' walks the other week and something happened that frightened the life out of me...
