they look great tom!  getting a dog was one of the best things i've ever done.  are the pups for sale or do they already have lucky people waiting for them?

What a stunning sequence Tractor. Thanks.

I am disapionted with the photos to be honest, half a sleep, wrong lens, they could have been great but they do capture it quite well.
I was amazed of the noise they were making and they really were hitting hard, quite a sight.
In the end, the loser just quietly slid away, the victor is still srutting around the garden now.

I'm not sure, but I would be surprised if they are not all spoken for.

Generations of selective breeding has gone into these. I know the dam personally and she's a cracker.

About 3/5ths Jack Russell, 1/5th Patterdale, a dash of Lakeland, and the merest  smidgen of Staffy.

They're bred for hunting, and they have great instincts, but to be honest, they are mostly kept as pets.

When my kids go to the cinema I make them carry a wee bag each carrying drink and snacks.  They're at the age where they go with friends instead of us, so they're abso mortified carrying in their own gear.  I don't give a toss as they don't work so have no say in how the money is spent.

On the other hand, I'm lucky if I go to the cinema twice in the year.  Something always comes up to scupper the plan.  So when I make the trip, the bill isn't cheap.
Up here cinema staff would confiscate any snacks, juice etc not bought on the premises.

They'd confiscate here too...if they caught it.  Luckily cinema staff in Killarney are only ever thinking about when their shift ends.

Go on then.  Cliff notes will do for now.  You can fill in the blanks later.

Mrs Red gives me earache about how peeps are kicking lumps out of the furniture with their big clod-hoppers. (Actually a few tiny scuffs, invisible to the naked eye)

I devise a solution which involves attaching strips of perspex to vulnerable corners. It's a master-stroke. The clear perspex is almost undetectable to the naked eye. I'm knee deep in brownie points.

Just a thought - would it have been simpler to ask people to take their shoes off rather than kick 5 bells out of your settee?

In theory most cinema chains don't allow food to be taken in from outside - but in practice I've never heard of anyone ever having any problem with it.

I think it's probably more down to the staff knowing it's a stupid rule and how much things are overpriced rather than just not bothering.

I expect anytime people have been pulled up over taking there own stuff in it's more likely that it's down to those people being obnoxious rather than because the staff care about the rule

My aunt is a cinema manager of one of the biggest venues in the North West and they don't give a damn if you take your own food in or not. They have 2 simple rules though; no hot food and no alcohol.
