Can't seem to find this info, can anyone help?
How many calories in a whole roast chicken?
Just for clarity, we will assume medium size, minus skin & offal.

Got a lot of birds feeding at our feeders outside the kitchen window at the moment - very little growing yet so I think they're still struggling waiting for spring. Had an unusual visitor that I'd to look up having never seen one before: We didn't manage to get a pic so I'd to google one (so the name is in the link).

Probably why they have so many bugs. With no sparrows to eat them, locust populations ballooned..........leading to the Great Chinese Famine in which around 30 million people died of starvation http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Great_sparrow_campaign

The shooting on Malta and some Greek islands severely undermines proptection work in northern Europe. Thankfully last year Malta was found in breach of European wildlife laws which gives the people who fight against the shooting some ammo (pun not intended). And yes Red it was a Reed Bunting - not seen very often up here. Pretty little fella though. The female's rather dowdy.
