Bearing in mind my acquaintances, I was thrilled to see the entry at line 6.

if you were to never in your diary again that post would ensure you went out at the top of your game

Fail.

aha, I initially wrote 'post' between 'never' and 'in'. then I realised I'd used the word post twice in one line which I hate so deleted the first one

now we hit a small problem as I couldn't think of a suitable word to replace it, 'write' didn't seem right so I decided to just leave it as it was but forget to replace the original word

How about "make another entry"?

Careful Matt, he has already let slip that he takes notice of your attire.

If you were to never again update your thread...

If you were to no longer refresh this web log with further goings on from house McReady...

If all the days from hence to posthence would fall from from our lives, like grains of sand atwixt chambers of the hourglass, without you having cause to make an additional installment in this, the chronicle of your existence...

If you were not to feel again any need to bestow us with another chapter in your treatise on the human condition...

If doing that thing you do when another happening from your life appears on our monitors, becomes doing that thing you did...

Then in your final post, I wouldn't really get the joke. I'm assured it's rather good though so wpwp.

This film is on TV now

The girl on the right is Jane Horrocks, but I can't find the boy listed anywhere if I google the cast, even though he's a main character.

Help.
