Would table ninja help?

Don't know nuffink about TN, but I don't play lots of tables at once, I just want to be able to enter precisely sized bets. (Without getting up)

What about an on-screen number pad? I can download one for free, but will it work?

Have you thought about getting yourself a bot for Xmas?

I just had an unexpected visitor.

I heard what sounded like the letterbox whilst I was shaving and then there was a bit of a flapping sound from my bedroom so i went to investigate. Imagine my surprise when I saw a small green, gold and black finch flitting around from picture frame to lampshade looking for the exit.

He must have squeezed through the letterbox which had been left ajar by the postman earlier. I've got one of those draught-protector brush things there which must have aroused it's curiosity.

No darker green with quite a lot of black.

Or was it perhaps a siskin? (Much more unlikely as they are timid and elusive)

Ignore Ralph, Tom, he has dodgy mincers (or minces, as he pedantically wishes), it was probably next door's cat.

We ate loads of small birds when we were kids. We used to pluck and eviscerate them, and then spit roast them over the fire on the end of a stick, like meaty marshmallows.

I think that may be him.

I reckon he may have got caught in the bristles of my draught-protector lobster-pot style, whilst looking for a nesting place and the only way he could move was into my flat.

Very feasible Ralph. Except for the nesting bit (Too late in the season)

We used to make "funnel" traps for catching birds in much the same fashion.

BTW- You have finally achieved pin-up status.
