I thought these scenes were quintessentially British. so I snapped them for the people in Vegas who might need a bit of a glitz antidote.

Homesick now, Tom!

Where were they taken?

Am loving every single moment of Vegas, but it has to be the ugliest, & most soul-less Town/City I've ever visited, with not a bit of countryside to savour. It's right up there with Mombasa & Banjul when it comes to being easy on the eye.

I took them during my bike ride today. The first one is the Soarbrook at Foss Meadows, the second is a little row of cottages on Lychgate Lane in Aston Flamville, and the third is a crop of linseed (Flax) just up the road from me.

good morning starshine?

that may have been a bit late, didn't get the warning that there'd been more posts. kin's probs broke the forum again

you need to stick what you're searching for in quotation marks and then google will search for the exact phrase rather than assuming you've got a stutter and correcting it

Eh? You need to get out more Tony, even if its just for a short trip and walk in Red Rock Canyon.

Been there, Woodsey, but I'm in to lush green grass, meadows, trees, meandering streams, British electricity pylons, birds, ducks & stuff. Each to their own & all that.

Red Rock, in it's scale, is quite something, but, to my mind, "pretty" it is not.

Lol. Banjul has to be one of the most corrupt cities in the world Tony. After years of spending the winter months in Gambia my mate decided he was gonna build a Villa out there. all it took was a fist full of dollars for the authorities to get his permission. Just before he left he hired a   40 foot container and emptied all the charity shops of their stock and shipped it over there. Once at the village he paid for most of the labour with clothes and toys from the container. Them guys sure can graft.

Asked Bridie what an average tweet might look like, she said they are along the lines of "Having a bath, lol".

Not if it's your average poker player tweeting.  Unless it's their birthday.
