ARRRRRRRRRRRRGHHH. 2 minutes silence on one day a year and I still have to tell people off for talking through it. I'm not even British FFS and I shut up
why can't fat Scottish twats not just keep quiet for 2 minutes.
Sorry mate.
lol, let's not kid ourselves..you're about as Scottish as I am
You could probably both get into the Scottish football side.

Didn't think it was that cryptic. You were saying that your curiosity was akin to the Brazilian tribesmen who found out about the highly poisonous frogs. I was saying that hopefully you stumble across the solution without having to 'lick the frog' - or something like that.
Ah!
I can write reading, but I can't read writing.

I almost replied "No it isn't, my diary doesn't have all that Scottish football crap"

So last year, much against my better judgement and instinct for self-preservation, I allowed Mrs Red to talk me into trying couscous.
Tonight it was humous. It's a slippery slope. I've only my self to blame.
Disgraceful, abandoning your roots.
What's wrong with a home made steak & kidney pudding, steamed for 4 hours, mashed potato, & lashings of think gravy?
I think I need to apply the rule of thumb.
As in, one well knows, "under the"?
The phrase "rule of thumb" is derived from and old English law which stated that you couldn't beat your wife with anything wider than your thumb.
I'm surprised nobody picked you up on this latest installment from

I would, if all the players weren't overpaid prima donnas who spend most of the time flinging themselves to the ground and writhing about in pain, trying to gain an unfair advantage by getting an opponent penalised.
I would also like it better if opposing fans shared a talegate barbacue before the match like they do in the USA, instead of hating each other so much that they have to be kept apart by fences & policemen.

You'd like the atmosphere at a rugby (league or union) match Tom. Fans all mix with virtually no trouble, you can take drinks to your seat, families can go and enjoy the day out together, etc.

I'm probably going to regret asking this, but what's the difference between league and union?

No one told me about their EDC (Every Day Carry) either Jon, and I'm genuinely interested.

This in a hugely sweeping statement of the kind that I argue against every day. I hereby retract it.
