it's the one fixture of the year where the away fans aren't going to be majorly inconvenienced. there're no trains so no-one loses out on prepaid tickets as usually happens with postponements while more people will be able to attend tomorrow than today once the rail service starts up plus tomorrow is another bank holiday so few people are going to miss out due to work

Ah right, fair play then.

I'm used to games getting called off when I'm getting up in the morning after travelling up to f*&%ing Inverness the day before - so the notice was good for all the fans at least.

Might be able to help you with the weather thing if ya like.  We'll obviously need to discuss holidays and wages first.  Weather girls aren't a dime a dozen ya know.  It's a specialist field.

Can we do a screen test?

In your own time, just give us today & tomorrow's forecast for the Midlands please.

Oh and can we have  you wearing something wintry or holding an umbrella or what ever seems appropriate in your avatar please.

TY.

PS - Wages & holidays are the same as Ralph & I.

Today was dodgy but dry (ish) with temps generally around the 10 degree mark.  Tomorrow will be more of the same.

Hang tight for the sun shiny day on Wednesday.  I know you didn't request Wednesday, but I got all excited when I saw the yellow thingy on the weather map.  Soz.

<<<  As requested, please note the lovely scarf, boots and huge Christmas and Leicester colours umbrella.

If I'm making the same as yerself and Ralph, we've got a deal!

Well the competition was fierce, but the umbrella, coupled with the fact that you're a local lass with a bias toward Leicester weather swung it.

Edelweiss was my favourite from the musicals. Patriotic songs always get me going.

you didn't leave applications open very long.

tbf I'd have probably not have provided any more detail than 'it's a bit nippy out' or 'it's pissing down' and would deffo have wanted payment in chocolate or something.

Perhaps you could be vice-weather girl.

Show us your avatar (perhaps one of those Chrismassy outfits like those ladies on Cos's diary) and I'll think about it.

I know he's been away a few days but to refer to Tikay as history is a bit harsh.

There was a bit of mayhem in Mother Nature Land last night.   They were pished as coots and dancing the night away when disaster struck.  The Sun and the Clouds were dancing a jig.  All was grand at first, but then some smart arse decided to put on tango music and that's when the trouble started.  The Sun developed a case of two left feet and stomped all over the Clouds.

As a result, Clouds were unable to make their scheduled appearance this morning.  They are currently stuck in A&E waiting to be seen for what appears to be broken toes.  Mother Nature scolded The Sun and is making it cover the schedule for Clouds until they feel a bit better.  Hence the unplanned Sunshine you're seeing this morning.

Apologies for the confusion.  We've hidden all eggnog supplies to prevent further disruption.
