I moved the bird table about 1ft closer to my window today, but the birds don't seem too bothered. Hopefully, as it gets closer, my pictures will improve.
This is Floyd, my Greater Spotted Woodpecker.

Not really. It's a little out of focus and I don't like fussy conifers the background. I did enjoy taking it though.
5 cleverclog points to the first person to guess why we named him Floyd.

Quality response, Redsgirl, proper chip off the block, you.
Dad must, as they say in racehorse breeding circles, stamp his stock.
I have a whole gallery of photographs of concrete, just say the word & I will share them with you.
I feel you have overlooked Mrs RED DOG here.
Not even RED DOG could have created the perfection that is moi single-handedly.

BTW Tony, Tinypic seems to be making the images bigger than I would like. They don't fit the page when I post them any more. I have to mess about with them.
I used to just upload them to Tinypic and post the ling here and Bob's your uncle, but now it doesn't work properly. have you broken something?
Ideas anyone?
