Is it foggy where you are? If so, it's because yesterday Mrs Red said, "Remember when it used to get foggy? We haven't had a good fog for ages".

Here's a picture of our fog, through the square window....

Super thick here too, but then it would be as we're not too far from you.  Although, that's not necessarily true when it comes to fog, is it?  Where's Chinese Frankie when ya need him?

No. We were driving home from the pictures last night and we were in pea soup. 100 yards later it was beautifully clear, 100 yards after that, pea soup again.

I'm resisting a rant about drivers and fog lights. (Please don't get me started on fog lights).

It's simple.  People don't know how or when to use them.

Here's one for the camera buffs.

Why, as a (very) amateur photographer, am I proud of this unremarkable shot of a robin?

Nice focussing. Manual focus, or focus on the hedge, half-press to lock and move?

I'd like to rant about fog lights as well. At least 20% of the cars this morning had NO lights on at all. Unbelievable!

Yes. Couldn't focus on the robin through the feeders so I focused on the hedge, locked and moved. Good innit?

This! Oh this.

New car owners are the worst. They turn 1000 mega-what fog-lamps on at the slightest hint of a bit of mist (Chance to press a new button) and then the bastards NEVER turn em off again. They drive around blinding everyone until the following Sunday.

The only reason they turn them off on Sunday is because they accidentally press the button again while Vileda-ing the dash.

Scandalous.

Cinema prices have always been insane - since well before people were downloading things for free too.  In fact, they've come down a bit since free downloading became the norm, but they're still saucy.

Another few months down the road and you can buy the video for a tenner.  Sure, it's not the cinema, but so what?!  Paying extra to sit with a bunch of strangers, fully clothed, hoping the people around you keep quiet so you don't miss a line after paying so fecking much.  And don't dare be interested in anything at the snack counter.  Good god...they want yer first born as partial payment there.

I love going to the cinema, but for the money there's so much going against it.

Correct. You can't beat watching a good film in the nude.
